Hood ornaments were once commonplace on high-end automobiles but over the years, have dwindled down to a handful including the Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star or Jaguar leaping cat. Only on a Rolls-Royce, they have continued to remain a standing glory. The Spirit of Ecstasy has been the Rolls-Royce mascot for decades and remains so today. Now Priory Fine Art is offering a limited edition of Rolls-Royce ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ Showroom Statues, giving aficionados a chance to relive these luxurious sculptures. The priory hand-finished sculptures have been created using an original 1930s Rolls-Royce showroom statuette as a key point of reference. Italy from space
Priory crafts replicas of the classic statuettes out of brass, optionally plated in silver or gold and at over twenty-six inches (67cms). These little masterpieces are availble at $3,163. Each of the statues will have a unique limited-edition letter/number stamped recto, and will be finished in an elegant colour combination of a light-ferric and classic-brown patina. Supported by an accentuated hollow-cast bronze dais with a Pralarn-Black marble support and padded base, this imposing figure will look splendid in any setting, be it boardroom, private lounge or showroom. This landmark series of Rolls-Royce ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ Showroom Statues will celebrate its the centenary of the 1911 original with continuation sculptures, which can be bought from Priory Fine Art.
