Its time to celebrate the coming of spring with some of the finest spirits ever! After a successful tie-up with Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail, Louis XIII is all set to put up three more lots on sale for the “Master of Spirits” event in Singapore. Highlighting the sale is a limited edition one-of-its kind carafe of Louis XIII which goes back to the 1930s. Crafted using several decanters which graced the 1938 royal banquet at the Chateau de Versailles, the spirits had been served to His Majesty King George VI and Queen Elisabeth. The one piece only crystal carafe, is valued at a stunning €50,000 ($69,300).

Most expensive rice cake is decked with gold and diamonds to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit

The Chinese in Philippines sure know how to ring in their new year in traditional values and a dash of luxury. A local savory called as the Tikoy is a sweet rice cake. And to celebrate the year of the rabbit in pomp, Entrepreneur Angelito Araneta Jr's has come up with a 24-carat edible gold leaf and 0.2-carat diamonds version for those with a sweet tooth for luxury. These gold and diamond rabbits are priced at just $485, had is just one of the 13 made by order for select rich Chinese customers for the new lunar Year of the Rabbit in Chinese calendar. Araneta Jr. also revealed that one of his customers also ordered for a two-diamond gold encrusted rice cake priced at $2,700 making it his most expensive sale to date.
