While the season to be jolly is right around the corner, looks like people have finally got in the buying frenzy. Sotheby’s wine auctions in Hong Kong over the weekend saw the sale of19th century vintage wines from Lafite-Rothschild. A bottle of Lafite 1869 earned a record breaking $232,692. A total of 284 lots of wine bottles owned by Domaines Baron de Rothschild were completely sold out, earning 5.4 million Hong Kong dollars ($8.4 million) in totality.
